The Law class (2 hours a week) will enable students to gain an understanding of the legal framework surrounding their professional activities and then to apply this theoretical knowledge to real life situations. The class will develop students’ knowledge and skills, in terms of:
regulations which apply to various economic and social agents.
dealing with legal documents and norm conformity.
analysis of basic legal situations, drawn from real organizational examples
drawing well justified and substantiated solutions.

The course covers five different themes over the two years:
The individual at work
Structures and organisations
The role of contracts in supporting businesses
The ‘intangible’ in financial exchanges
Legal risks to companies

The final exam in Economics and Law is a four-hour written paper, the content of which is decided at national level. The exam is divided into two distinct and equally weighted parts. By using a range of source materials, students are required to show their methodological aptitudes in analysing information and developing arguments whilst, at the same time, exploiting economic and legal data.
