Managing Digital Information Systems (2h a week) is divided into two professional classes: data management and IT risk management. Students learn how to represent data flows, in the form of flow charts; to illustrate business processes clearly, with process charts; to read and modify relational models; to search a data base using SQL (Structured Query Language); to manage and file digital documents; and acquire a basic knowledge of computer networks and data security.

The final exam runs for 2 hours and 30 minutes and consists of written and practical assessments. The exam is sat at the end of the freshman year. It is organized and graded by the teacher in-charge and includes computing and written tasks.
